New Delhi: American-American comedian and political commentator Hasan Minhaj has revealed that his father used to send him to Medical College in Manipal when he was a comedian as a child.
The Patriot Act host recently sat down with his parents to answer questions posted by fans on a popular unusual facebook group.
At one point in the show, Minhaj was asked about the best advice he received from his parents. Minhai's dad responded by saying that he had once advised his son not to go to medical school, to which the latter laughed and intervened, saying, "You threatened to put me in Manipal."
The Minister said: "People in India are attending, you know Manipal Medical School. I did a comedy and you (my dad) said I would send to Manipal and they had a bar in the windows."
"Anyone who goes to Manipal Med School, I pray for you," Minhaj joked.
At this point, Minhaj's father added that as soon as he visited college during a trip to India, he was determined to never send his son. "I was scared, you see."
The nearly 15-minute episode saw Minhaj's parents pour out stories like their son was a kid when they were very proud and frustrated with what they were thinking about today's career. The Minhaj & # 39; Patriot Act & # 39; goes to Netflix.
