Washington: "Fuller House" actor John Stamos has landed the lead role in an upcoming, untitled, original Disney + series.
The upcoming show was written by David E. Kelly, who will also be the executive producer on the show with Dean Lorey, Deadline announced.
In the series of 10 episodes, Stamos will star as a volleyball basketball coach fired from his job, after which he will receive teaching and coaching work in an elite private high school for all girls.
Disney's Agnes Chu described the actress as the "perfect" choice for this role, saying: "John is absolutely perfect for this role and we are excited to bring his incredible talent and heart to this work." Stamos, a two-time Emmy winner, will also be considered Chef Louis in the upcoming feature "The Little Mermaid Live!", Which is set to air November 5 on the ABC network.
