A girl's mom took a reality check from Washington Post writer Carolyn Hax after feeling justified to exclude a little boy from a public playground.
The anonymous mother wrote to Hax about "playground. "It seems that she and other daughters mothers have unofficially claimed a local playground as their meeting place for girls at a fixed time every week.
Until the disaster collapsed, and a strange mother brought her son to the public park and dared to let him slip, swing and play during their special season.
The girl's mom asked his mom to leave and she was overwhelmed when the other woman looked upset.
"If she turns back, is there a better way to approach her? This was such a sweet time for mothers and daughters and having a boy will of course change things. I think I can not keep it legally from a public park, but I can make a call to her best nature? ", asked Mama Hax.
Then the desperate columnist – and mother of three boyfriends – was released.
How dare the adult grow up to justify a child's feelings. And its use as some kind of "cosmic correction" in the balance between men and women is catastrophic, he said.
The little boy does not feel right except in the game in a public park.
"If you are to blame someone for being" entitled, "then ask yourself who claims to have public space for his own purposes" Hax wrote, adding if the mother wants a playdate only for girls, she can do it in private property.
"The goddess helps all of us," said Hax.
