National champion Sourabh Verma won Slovenia's international title after winning Minoru Koga of Japan 21-17, 21-12 in the men's singles final at Medvode on Sunday.
In the semifinals, Verma saved two matches with Danish Karan Rajan Rajarajan as she won 21-13 16-21 25-23.
He was much more confident in the crash, as he managed to lead to important drivers after the break in both games of the 36-minute encounter.

In the double women, Sanjana Santosh and Pooja Dhandu went 21-14, 22-20 in the final against England Jenny Moore and Victoria Williams.
Earlier this month, Sourabh Verma and Lakshya Sen lost the second round of the Danish international tournament. The 26-year-old Indian goalkeeper, who had previously, had also completed a title hat on Senior Badminton Nationals.
