The largest superstructure in the world at the design stage

(CNN) – Once you thought that sophisticated designs could not get extra exaggerated, one comes to blow the others away from the water.

The Valkyrie project features a spectacular, elegant craft filled with state-of-the-art luxury entertainment features that will be the largest superstructure in the world – 229 meters (751 feet) long.

And the best part? You will not need to be a billionaire to board.

Valkyrie is the work of Chulhun Park, designer at Latitude Yachts in Latvia.
"I was determined to design a unique visual boat that will stand out from a fleet," says Park on CNN Travel.

South Korea's concept includes a casino, theater, art gallery and conference room, all open to the public.

"Most people believe that superstores are exclusive billionaire property to display their wealth," he says. "However, such a node would be a virtually floating architecture that would be used by the public."

If built, this imposing craft would easily close the length of 180 meters of today's largest overpriced world, Azzam – believed to belong to the President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

Crazy-cool design

The park came with the idea of Walkir while studying for his master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London.

The work of the thesis, supported by the Monaco Palmer Johnson Yachts yacht designers, who used Park before moving to Latitude Yachts.

The Valkyrie is based on the Trimaran John Palmer, a structure that says it reduces drag while traveling at high speeds and offers greater stability.

"Below the water line was designed by Palmer Johnson Yachts and the waterline was designed by Chulhun Park," explains the designer.

The Valkyrie will host 52 people in 26 cabins, along with 92 crew members in 46 cabins – although Park adds that it could hold many more visitors a day.

The main material will be the steel or aluminum hull and the carbon fiber superstructure.

At present, it's just a plan – but Park says he is sure he could become a reality.

"There has been real interest in the project," he confirms.

But it will not be cheap. The designer estimates it will cost $ 800 million for construction.
