The hotel disposal ring just opened in St Louis.
Travelers are accustomed to asking for the highest floor for the best view, but a new hotel in China offers the exact opposite.
The InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland, the first underground hotel in the world, is set to open its doors on December 1st after a decade of construction in a former abandoned quarry nearly 20 miles from Shanghai.
The unique luxury resort offers 18 stories, immersing 300 feet in the quarry to present a waterfall built into the center of the structure. The enchanting waterfall, apart from the panoramic view of the rocks, can be seen from the rounded balconies on the first 16 floors.

The lower two floors, however, replace a balcony for an equally exciting feature. The two lower levels are completely submerged under water in a 33-foot aquarium, taking the phrase "sleeping with fish" to a whole new level.
Those who seek an extra thrill can look at bungee jumping and climbing in the luxurious resort.
The hotel is also ecological, creating its own power using geothermal and solar energy. The roof of the ground is covered with green, combining the surrounding landscape.
InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland has 337 rooms and suites.
